Jayce Lewis: Emerging From The Shadows In 2010…

With the shotgun greeting from music video ‘Icon’ debuting music channels around the world, the multi-faceted Jayce Lewis has been hailed as making an extraordinary impact on the music industry after signing a 5 year deal to EMI Music . His smash hit single ‘Icon’ was selected to top MTV & VH1 Asia’s international channel by becoming Artist of the month, the track ranked amongst the biggest artist in the industry such as – Coldplay, Prodigy and Depeche Mode on EMI’s Smash Hits 2009 compilation, and headlining MTV/VH1’s Global Express tour. With a BBC 1 Documentary being televised on Jayce’s Career it’s no wonder this young star has generated such a spectacle of excitement.

The story starts like most except with a twist!, Jayce like many young musicians found his feet playing in several bands on an array of instruments, with his love for guitars driving him and a passion for percussion drawing attention, his unique style attracted the likes of industry giant Yamaha percussion and the legendary Gibson Guitars. Both companies recognized his self taught style and unique musicianship by endorsing Jayce worldwide, Soon to follow was the likes of Paistie Cymbals and Marshall Amplifiers.

Now with the musical journey under the spotlight Jayce was fast becoming known for his talents on both drums and guitar with all media learning that the Welshman was indeed all self taught.

In December 2008 Jayce decided to try his hand at being a solo artist following the split of a rock band, Bringing the Welshman back to strings but leaving a vacant position of vocalist, Jayce being the highly driven optimist took up the duty and surprised the industry with his voice, melodic tones and deep lyrics.

Now with the finishing touches being made to the debut album – Chapter, there is much anticipation and excitement for this highly respected individual.
