Fight Like Apes: Do You Karate?

Fight Like Apes announce new visual clip for ‘Knuckle Head’

The Obnoxious Pop combo enjoyed a full-on summer of festival high-jinks in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Their well received debut album ‘Fight Like Apes And The Mystery Of The Golden Medallion’ has been released in Europe, Australia and Japan. The Japanese release enabled FLA to hook up with top drawer Tokyo Electro-Ninjas 80KIDZ, resulting in a radically remixed version of ‘Lend Me Your Face’

Fight Like Apes recorded a video for their track ‘Do You Karate?‘ where they take to the wrestling ring to fight pro wrestlers Kid Kash and Scotty Too Hotty (formerly of WWE)

As you can see, lead singer MayKay and Pockets have quickly become wrestling stars of the future but not without a little hard work. They had lessons as part of the Vodaphone 360 Heroes experience…

It’s really cool - seeing the pair go from wrestling novices to learning key moves and taking them to the ring.

2009 kicked off for FLA with a blinding show at the Eurosonic festival in Holland. As a thanks to their fans for their support throughout the year, the band have made this gig available as a free eleven-track live album download exclusively through their website.

Tracklisting: You Are The Hat / Do You Karate? / Digifucker / Jake Summers / I’m Beginning To Think You Prefer Beverly Hills 90210 To Me / Knucklehead / Lend Me Your Face / Lumpy Dough / Tie Me Up With Jackets / Canhead / Battlestations

Fight Like Apes are currently writing songs for their second album, due for release in 2010.
