Bullet For My Valentine And Peavey!

Bullet For My Valentine Cranks Peavey Amps!

U.K.-bred metal stars Bullet For My Valentine landed at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart with Scream Aim Fire, the second album and highest chart debut to date for the Peavey 6505® amplifier endorsers.

Matt Tuck, guitarist/vocalist for Bullet For My Valentine—named “the best metal band to emerge in years” by Britain’s influential Q Magazine—describes Scream Aim Fire as “really melodic heavy metal—catchy, hooky choruses and full-on vocals with the music being very in-your-face and heavy. It’s a lot more up-tempo and aggressive than [the band’s million-selling debut] The Poison.

“We have stepped it up a gear,” adds the frontman and Peavey 6505 guitar amp endorser. “This album is chock full of classic Bullet ingredients: metal riffs, pounding rhythms, shredding solos and great melodies. We took everything that we learned from The Poison, and took it up tenfold.”

Metal fans will get a taste of the Bullet For My Valentine sound on the Taste of Chaos tour this spring, where the band will crank its wall of Peavey 6505 amplifiers. “My Peavey 6505 amp is the most important piece of equipment for getting my sound,” says Tuck. “The 6505 gives me that ripping tone I need to cut through, as well as a heavy, crunchy chord sound.”

For more than 15 years, the Peavey 6505 Series has defined the sound of aggressive music. From the fury of Machine Head to the crossover punk of Story Of The Year to the whiplash thrash of Job For A Cowboy—and virtually every artist whose tones have been at the mercy of producers Andy Sneap and Jason Suecof—the Peavey 6505 amp is the blueprint for metal guitar tone.
